BorderWare to WatchGuard XCS Migration Registration
Migrating to WatchGuard XCS software expands the security capabilities of your BorderWare Security Platform by adding many new features. It also ensures that you receive regular software and maintenance updates to extend the life of your product.
Before submitting your registration request, please review the following terms and conditions:
- WatchGuard reserves the right to qualify each request for migration received.
- You will receive your new serial number, feature key and/or notice of qualification for the migration approximately one week from receipt of your migration request.
- You must have valid hardware (your appliance does not require a hardware refresh and the appliance model is not End of Life) and a valid support contract.
- You must be running version 7.1 or higher of the BorderWare software in order to migrate to XCS software.
- Once you migrate, you will be renewing with XCS SKUs going forward.

- Greater control from data loss with ability to disable low-grade TLS encryption (less than 128 bit)
- Email Encryption subscription controls can disable unencrypted messages to prevent them from being distributed by recipient
- Enhanced reporting includes rejected connection details, with a new option to expire reports to free disk space
