End of Life Policy
WatchGuard Technologies is strongly committed to providing industry-leading products and services. As the market continues evolving towards more complex levels of network security, WatchGuard will periodically announce End-of-Sale and End-of-Life life cycle milestone information along with migration recommendations for our valued customers.
As described in WatchGuard's Official EOL Policy, all WatchGuard products and services will enter into an End-of-Sale (EOS) period prior to End of Life (EOL). Product EOS dates will be up to five years prior to product EOL and all EOL communications will start with an official EOL Intent Announcement at least 60 days prior to the product's EOS date.
Once an End-of-Sale date is announced, you may continue to order products from your authorized WatchGuard reseller partner while limited stock is available. Customers with an active Support subscription will receive continued technical and limited software support until the End of Life.

WatchGuard Event Importer / Panda Importer
Each new release of the Importer triggers End of Sale (EOS) of the previous version. This impacts both WatchGuard and Panda Importers' life cycle, making the Importer End-of-Maintenance (EOM) date six months after the newest version was released and the End-of-Life (EOL) date two years later.
Datablink
Datablink was acquired by WatchGuard on 8 August 2017. WatchGuard has since launched the AuthPoint multi-factor authentication (MFA) platform, which replaces certain Datablink products as indicated with the End-of-Sale (EOS) and End-of-Life (EOL) information as shown.

End-of-Life Policy Guidelines
- WatchGuard will provide End-of-Sale announcements directly to partners per agreements.
- The End-of-Life date will generally occur up to five (5) years after the End-of-Sale date. WatchGuard may announce End of Life for legacy appliances that have been replaced by a newer generation before officially announcing End of Sale.
- Prior to the End-of-Life date, WatchGuard may provide at its unilateral discretion, maintenance releases, patches, and/or hot fixes.
- Although 1-year contract renewal SKUs for Support and security services will remain available in the final year, services will not extend beyond the End-of-Life (EOL) date. Co-terminated service periods will not be available in the final year prior to the EOL.
- Renewable security subscriptions will generally be available for purchase from reseller partners until one (1) year prior to the End-of-Life date. However, WatchGuard reserves the right to change security subscriptions (replacing a subscription service with a different, equivalent service) at any time during the End-of-Sale to End-of-Life period.
- New subscription services may not always be compatible with WatchGuard products in their End-of-Life period or past End of Life.
- The Return Materials Authorization (RMA) process will continue until the End-of-Life date if the product is covered by a Hardware Warranty.
- Software downloads will be accessible for an additional 90 days after the product reaches its End-of-Life date.
