HTTPS-Proxy: Proxy Alarm
You can configure how the HTTPS-proxy sends messages for alarm events that occur through the HTTPS-proxy. You can define the proxy to send an SNMP trap, a notification to a network administrator, or both. The notification can either be an email message to a network administrator or a pop-up window on the management computer.
To configure Proxy and AV alarm settings for the HTTPS-proxy, from Fireware Web UI:
- On the Edit proxy action page, select the Proxy and AV Alarms tab.
The Proxy Alarm settings appear.
- Configure the notification settings for the HTTPS-proxy action.
For more information, see Set Logging and Notification Preferences. - To change settings for other categories in this proxy, see the topic for the next category you want to modify.
- Click Save.
To configure Proxy and AV Alarm settings for the HTTPS-proxy, from Policy Manager:
- In the HTTPS-Proxy action, select the General category.
The Proxy Alarm settings appear in the General Settings.
- Configure the notification settings for the HTTPS-proxy action.

If you modified a predefined proxy action, when you save the changes you are prompted to clone (copy) your settings to a new action.
