Uninstall TDR AD Helper

You can uninstall AD Helper and remove the local files created by AD Helper.

To uninstall AD Helper:

  1. On the computer where AD Helper is installed, select Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  2. Find the WatchGuard Active Directory Helper application.
  3. Right-click the application and select Uninstall.
    AD Helper is uninstalled.

When you uninstall AD Helper, the local AD Helper database and properties files are not automatically removed. To completely uninstall AD Helper you must manually remove the local files created by AD Helper.

To remove the local AD Helper files from the host computer, delete this folder:

c:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\helperapp\

You must remove the AD Helper files before you install AD Helper again for another TDR account or region.
