POP3-Proxy: Proxy and AV Alarms

You can configure how the POP3-proxy sends messages for alarm and antivirus events that occur through the POP3-proxy. You can define the proxy to send an SNMP trap, a notification to a network administrator, or both.

  1. In the POP3 proxy action configuration, select Proxy and AV Alarms.

  1. Configure the notification settings for the POP3-proxy action.
    For more information, go to Set Logging and Notification Preferences.
  2. To change settings for another category in this proxy, go to the topic for that category.
  3. Save the configuration.

If you modified a predefined proxy action, when you save the changes you are prompted to clone (copy) your settings to a new action.
