Patch Management Installation Errors

When you install Patch Management or a patch, you might encounter error codes and messages.
Errors During Installation of Patch Management
You can view Patch Management installation errors in the Endpoint Security management UI, on the Status > Patch Management dashboard.
To review installation errors, on the Patch Management dashboard:
- In WatchGuard Cloud, select Monitor > Endpoints.
- Select Status > Patch Management.
- In the Patch Management Status tile, click Error installing.
- To open the error details, select a computer.
Error Codes and Messages
These are the error codes and messages that might appear during the installation of Patch Management or the installation of a patch. For more information about how to troubleshoot Patch Management error codes, go to Troubleshoot Patch Management.

Solutions
Method 1: Verify if the software needs repair. Run the Microsoft Office Diagnostics tool reports (Start > Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools > Microsoft Office Diagnostics).
For Microsoft Office 2010 and higher, repair the software in the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs (Programs & Features). Right-click the software and select Repair.
Additional repair process for Office on Windows 7, 8 and 10
Method 2: Make sure the correct Microsoft Office language packs or Service Packs are installed on the client.
Method 3: If method 1 and method 2 do not work, contact Microsoft Technical Support.
