Configure Multicast Routing

You can enable multicast routing on your Firebox and configure interfaces as Rendezvous Point (RP) candidates.

Select Network > Multicast Routing.
Select the Enable Multicast Routing check box.
This enables the PIM-SM multicast routing protocol globally. You must continue to Step 4 and add multicast interfaces for multicast routing to work.

Select an interface and click OK.
To configure the interface you selected as a Rendezvous Point candidate, select the RP Candidate check box.

The alias Any-Multicast and these two policies are added to your configuration:

Select Network > Multicast.
The Multicast Setup dialog box appears.
Select the Enable Multicast Routing check box.
This enables the PIM-SM multicast routing protocol globally. You must continue to Step 3 and add multicast interfaces for multicast routing to work.

Select an interface and click OK.
The Add Multicast Interface dialog box appears.
To configure the interface you selected as a Rendezvous Point candidate, select the RP Candidate check box.
