About the On-premises WebBlocker Server
By default, the Firebox WebBlocker subscription service uses WebBlocker Cloud for website category lookups. However, if your organization does not want to use WebBlocker Cloud, you can install an on-premises WebBlocker Server and use it for website lookups instead of the WebBlocker Cloud. The on-premises WebBlocker Server is a locally installed WebBlocker Server that uses a local version of the WebBlocker Cloud URL categorization database.
If you want WebBlocker to use an on-premises WebBlocker Server, you must install and configure the WebBlocker Server on a Hyper-V or VMware virtual machine in your network. After the WebBlocker Server is installed and set up, add details of the WebBlocker Server in the WebBlocker Global Settings, then configure WebBlocker actions to use the WebBlocker Server for lookups.
