Change the Authentication Domain Name

If your authentication domain name changes, you can update the domain name in WatchGuard Cloud.

WARNING: The domain name identifies the authentication domain in WatchGuard Cloud. If you change the domain name, it could affect devices or services that use this Authentication Domain.

You cannot change the WatchGuard Cloud Directory domain name.

To change the authentication domain name, from WatchGuard Cloud:

  1. If you are a Service Provider, select the name of the managed subscriber account.
  2. Select Configure > Directories and Domain Services.
    The Authentication Domains page opens.

  1. Click the domain name to edit.
    The Update Authentication Domain page opens.

  1. In the Domain Name section, click Edit.
    The Update Domain Name dialog box opens.

  1. In the Domain Name text box, type the new domain name.
  2. Click Save.
