Getting Started with Dashboard

Applies To: Wi-Fi Cloud-managed Access Points (AP125, AP225W, AP325, AP327X, AP420)

The Dashboard provides a quick overview of the statistics related to demographic data about visitors using guest Wi-Fi, including store footfall, dwell time, and new users versus repeat users for the last day, last week, and the last month for the location selected in the location tree. You can show or hide the location tree by clicking the icon on the top left of the location tree. You can search for a location by typing the search string in the search box above the location tree.

When you log in to Analyze, the 1 Day Dashboard is displayed. To view other recent statistics, click 7 Days or 30 Days.

For each statistics set, you see a percentage increase or decrease compared with data for the previous day, week, or month. Green and red arrowheads represent the upward and downward trend. For the last day statistics, the trend is calculated by comparing the last day to the previous working day. The trend appears as a percentage increase or decrease. If you are viewing the last week statistics, the trend is calculated by comparing last week to the week before last.

You can use these graphs to observe trends such as customer loyalty, new customers, and average dwell time in the store.

The statistics displayed on the Dashboard are for the selected location. When a location has sub-locations, you see aggregated user data that includes the location and its sub-locations.

You can define a schedule to generate a location-specific Dashboard report for the last day, last week, or last month.

Dashboard Dates

A date is displayed at the top of the Dashboard. This is the last date for which the data is available. For instance, if the data availability date is June 26, 2016 and you select 7 Days, you see data for June 20–26, 2016.

You can also select a custom date. The graphs show data that use your custom date as the last date. If you select 7 Days, and the custom date is June 22, 2016, you see data for June 16–22, 2016. The custom date can be a date before or the same as the data availability date.

To reset the custom date back to the default data availability date, click the date and then click the Reset to Default link.
