Client Application Session Logs

Applies To: Wi-Fi Cloud-managed Access Points (AP125, AP225W, AP325, AP327X, AP420)

The client Application Session Logs page provides details of the applications used by the client. You can filter the data based on these applications:

  • WebEx
  • Skype
  • GoToMeeting
  • Slack
  • Hangouts
  • All Conferencing Apps

Hover on the pie chart icon to view overall aggregated data. The data provides information about Total Sessions, Affected Sessions, Total Experience Time, and Poor App Experience.

You can select the conferencing apps, time interval, freeze columns, add or remove columns, filter the display, and switch to full screen mode using the icons at the top-right of the page. For more information, see Table Actions for Monitor Pages.

This information is displayed:

Field Description

App Name

Name of the application.

Start Time

Session start time.

End Time

Session end time.

Duration (min)

Session duration in minutes.

% of Bad Time

Percentage of time for which application experience was poor for the specified clients.

Location

Location where the client connected.

Potential Cause

Potential root cause for poor application performance.

Average Bitrate Uplink

Indicates the average of the number of bits sent per second by the client in the session.

Average Bitrate Downlink

Indicates the average of the number of bits received per second by the client in the session.

Average Bitrate Jitter Uplink

Average standard deviation in the uplink bitrate.

Average Bitrate Jitter Downlink

Average standard deviation in the downlink bitrate.

Average RSSI (dbm)

Average Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI).

Average Retry Rate Average

Average percentage of retry packets out of the total packets sent or received by the client.

Average Data Rate Upstream

Average upstream data rate.

Average Data Rate Downstream Average

Average downstream data rate.

Roaming Count

Number of APs involved during the session.

Associated AP(s)

List of the APs involved in the client session.
