Resend Activation Email

When you add a user to AuthPoint, they receive an activation email that includes a link to activate their token in the AuthPoint app on their mobile device. By default, the activation link and QR code are valid for seven days. After that, the user cannot use the activation email or the IdP portal for activation.
If a user does not activate their token within seven days, you can send the user a new activation email so that they can activate their token. You can only resend the activation email to users that have a pending token.
To change how long the activation link and QR code are valid for, go to the AuthPoint Settings page.
Users can also activate tokens from the SSO authentication page. For more information, see Activate a Token.
To assign a token and send the token activation email to a user that did not have a token created for them automatically, you must resend the Token Activation email.
Before you continue, make sure that the user account has a valid email address. If the email address for a user account is not correct, the user cannot receive the email message to activate a token.
- From the Management menu, select Users.
The Users page appears.
- Make sure the correct email address appears for the user.
- Next to the user you want to resend the activation email to, click and select Resend Activation Email.
The Resend Activation Email dialog box appears.You can only resend the activation email to users that have a token with a status of Pending.
- Click Yes.
A new activation email is sent to the user with instructions to activate the token.
- From the Management menu, select Users.
The Users page appears.
- (Optional) Apply filters to the list of users. You might do this if you want to see only users that have a pending token.
- Click .
- Select the filters you want to apply. You can select multiple filters.
- Click Apply Filters.
- Select the check box next to each user that you want to resend the activation email to. You can select users from a single page only. If you click or to see another page of users, your selections are cleared.
- Click Resend Activation Email.
The Resend Activation Email dialog box appears.
- Click Yes.
A new activation email is sent to each user with instructions to activate the token.You can only resend the activation email to users that have a token with a Pending status. If you select users that do not have a pending token, those users do not receive the activation email.
