CRN Recognizes WatchGuard’s Panjwani, Welch in Top 100 Executives List

We’re thrilled to share that CRN has recognized two WatchGuard leaders in its prestigious Top 100 Executives of 2024 list.

  • WatchGuard CEO Prakash Panjwani was named one of CRN’s Top 25 Innovators of 2024, a list that honors top executives for their ability to drive innovation for technology products, solutions, and services.
  • WatchGuard’s Michelle Welch, chief marketing officer and senior vice president of business strategy, was recognized as one of CRN’s Top 25 Channel Sales Leaders of 2024, a list that highlights sales executives who are enabling partners to grow and profit from channel-related opportunities.

The annual Top 100 Executives list spotlights passionate and exemplary technology industry leaders dedicated to supporting IT channel growth with continuous innovation and channel-focused strategies and initiatives. It honors the achievements of executives across four categories: the 25 Most Influential Executives, Top 25 Channel Sales Leaders, Top 25 Innovators and Top 25 Disrupters.

These honors for Prakash and Michelle are the latest to illustrate WatchGuard’s significant channel presence and success. WatchGuard is renowned for its partner-first commitment, as the company is 100% dedicated to channel partners. Every deal made, every product sold, and every customer gained is a win for both WatchGuard and its partners. Additionally, WatchGuard’s Unified Security Platform® architecture is uniquely designed to equip managed service providers (MSPs) for success. The platform enables MSPs to deliver world-class security that increases their business scale and velocity while improving operational efficiency. It radically simplifies how MSPs protect customers while enabling rapid, efficient, and profitable growth – with one MSP achieving 56% growth by standardizing on WatchGuard’s Unified Security Platform architecture.

WatchGuard continues to broaden its platform to advance partner enablement. The company recently launched ThreatSync+ NDR, a 100% Cloud-based, AI-powered, open-network threat detection and response (NDR) solution that empowers organizations of all sizes to combat advanced cybersecurity threats such as ransomware attacks, data breaches and vulnerability exploits. WatchGuard also released its WatchGuard MDR service to make managed detection and response (MDR) more accessible to MSPs, enabling them to meet increased customer demand for managed cybersecurity delivery.

The Top 100 Executives list for 2024 will be featured in the August issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/Top100. Stay tuned to the WatchGuard blog for all the latest company updates and industry awards.
