About Management Information Bases (MIBs)
Fireware supports these types of Management Information Bases (MIBs).
Standard MIBs
Standard MIBs are definitions of network and hardware events used by many different devices. Your Firebox supports these standard MIBs:
- IF-MIB
- IP-MIB
- RFC1155 SMI-MIB
- RFC1213-MIB
- SNMPv2-MIB
- SNMPv2-SMI
- TCP-MIB
- UDP-MIB
These MIBs include information about standard network information, such as IP addresses and network interface settings.
Enterprise MIBs
Enterprise MIBs are used to give information about events that are specific to a single manufacturer. Your Firebox supports these enterprise MIBs:
- IPSEC-ISAKMP-IKE-DOI-TC
- WATCHGUARD-CLIENT-MIB
- WATCHGUARD-CLUSTER-STATUS-MIB
- WATCHGUARD-INFO-SYSTEM-MIB
- WATCHGUARD-IPSEC-ENDPOINT-PAIR-MIB
- WATCHGUARD-IPSEC-SA-MON-MIB-EXT
- WATCHGUARD-IPSEC-TUNNEL-MIB
- WATCHGUARD-POLICY-MIB
wgPolicyID, wgPolicyName and wgPolicyLogging objects only - WATCHGUARD-PRODUCTS-MIB
- WATCHGUARD-SMI
- WATCHGUARD-SYSTEM-CONFIG-MIB
- WATCHGUARD-SYSTEM-STATISTICS-MIB
These MIBs include more specific information about device hardware.
For detailed information about the content of the MIB files for Fireboxes, see Enterprise MIB File Details.
Fireware also supports some statistics from the UCD-SNMP-MIB third-party MIB. For more information, see the knowledge base article About Third-Party SNMP MIBs.
When you install the Fireware OS on your management computer, the supported Enterprise MIBs are installed in this location:
C:\Users\Public\Shared WatchGuard\SNMP
If you want to install all MIBs, you must run the Fireware OS installer for all your Firebox models. You can find the Fireware OS installer on the Software Downloads page at the WatchGuard website.
