HTTPS-Proxy: Proxy Alarm

You can configure how the HTTPS-proxy sends messages for alarm events that occur through the HTTPS-proxy. You can define the proxy to send an SNMP trap, a notification to a network administrator, or both.

  1. On the Edit proxy action page, select the Proxy and AV Alarms tab.
    The Proxy Alarm settings appear.

  1. Configure the notification settings for the HTTPS-proxy action.
    For more information, go to Set Logging and Notification Preferences.
  2. To change settings for other categories in this proxy, go to the topic for the next category you want to modify.
  3. Click Save.
  1. In the HTTPS-Proxy action, select the General category.
    The Proxy Alarm settings appear in the General Settings.

  1. Configure the notification settings for the HTTPS-proxy action.
    For more information, go to Set Logging and Notification Preferences.

If you modified a predefined proxy action, when you save the changes you are prompted to clone (copy) your settings to a new action.
