Shane Watkins

Senior Vice President and Global Head of People

Shane Watkins rejoined WatchGuard in 2020, after having previously led the HR function from 2014 to 2018. In his current role, he is responsible for the development, execution, and organization of the company’s global People Strategy, with oversight of Talent Acquisition, HR, and Global Facilities. While away from WatchGuard, he led the HR function at Whitman College and then was the Global VP of HR at Remitly, a leading digital money remittance company based in Seattle. Shane’s overall career in HR spans 25 years across technology, consumer goods, and the aerospace industries.

Shane holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Western Washington University and a MS degree in Family Psychology from Capella University.
