Copyworld and WatchGuard Join Forces to Tackle Everyday Security Challenges
The Challenge
Copyworld Spa, a company based in Scandicci (Florence) specializing in consulting, supplying, and implementing custom hardware and software solutions for small, medium, and large businesses, has been a WatchGuard partner since 2019.
Before the collaboration with WatchGuard, Copyworld relied on multiple brands for perimeter and endpoint security. However, the systems did not make for optimal management. In particular, multiple control panels had to be used and more skills on multiple brands had to be acquired by the internal team. For Copyworld it was important to be able to correlate the events between the various security agents as well as to be able to rely on automatic remediation without always resorting to human intervention.
When it came to assessing a new cybersecurity brand, Copyworld was looking for a true ally that they could face their everyday security challenges with. The key selection criteria had to be centered around product performance and the brand’s “technical” vision, which had to focus on a security concept that centralized all control assets.
The Solution
The products and services that made the difference in choosing WatchGuard were the Total Security Suite for network protection, WatchGuard EPDR for endpoint security, and AuthPoint MFA for identity protection. Thanks to their advanced security features they create a solid level of security, something that is important for the end customer.
Onboarding the WatchGuard solutions was simple thanks to the availability of training and all the technical documentation on the WatchGuard Partner Portal. The partnership has been further consolidated; today Copyworld is also embracing other WatchGuard products in order to offer customers an all-round security system.
“Thanks to WatchGuard Cloud,” explains Agostino di Somma, IT project manager at Copyworld, “we can have a single reference portal to check a customer’s security status. We can manage the security of endpoints, firewalls, multi-factor authentication, MDRs, NDRs, patch management, data encryption, and any aspects related to asset management as well as GDPR compliance.”
