Key New Features

  • Packet Capture
Access point packet capture allows you to intercept and analyze network traffic between your access points and wireless clients or between access points and the wired LAN. This feature helps troubleshoot wireless network issues like dropped connections, latency, or packet loss. You can capture packets and view them live or download them for analysis using third-party tools. This valuable diagnostic tool provides insights into network behavior and aids in identifying problem areas. For more information on packet capture, see Access Point Diagnostic Tools

  • Third-Party Captive Portal Integration with Mambo Wi-Fi
Our access points support integration with third-party captive portal providers, offering greater flexibility and customization for guest Wi-Fi experiences. By partnering with platforms like Mambo Wi-Fi, WatchGuard enables businesses to leverage advanced features like social media logins and detailed guest analytics. This integration allows for more engaging and informative captive portals while maintaining the security and reliability of WatchGuard's wireless network solutions.
