Fireware Release v12.10.4 Available Now
WatchGuard Fireware maintenance releases are published regularly to fix bugs and provide security updates to support our customers. This update addresses several bugs and includes security enhancements to fight against rising cyber threats.
This update empowers administrators to block suspicious activity to protect against a recent surge in brute force and credential-stuffing attacks targeting login systems. The new feature automatically blocks the source IP address after repeated failed login attempts.
In addition, this release gives you access to an updated version of WatchGuard Mobile VPN for SSL clients for Windows and macOS. The updated Windows client improves your security, while the updated macOS client (supporting macOS Big Sur 11 and higher) supports devices with Apple silicon (M series ARM) processors.
Please review the Release Notes for a complete list of enhancements and resolved issues.
