It's Time to Update Your Endpoint Security

The Threat Detection and Response (TDR) Host Sensor is a security product installed on your computer by your IT or network administrator to protect it from threats. Computers with a TDR Host Sensor installed will have a magnifying glass in the system tray to show the current status.

You may have noticed recently that the icon has changed from a check mark to an exclamation point. This is because the end-of-life date for WatchGuard TDR was 30 September 2023, and the TDR Host Sensor no longer protects your computer from threats.

What do I need to do?

You should contact your IT or network administrator as soon as possible to help uninstall the TDR Host Sensor software and upgrade to our new product, WatchGuard Endpoint Security. WatchGuard Endpoint Security is a more comprehensive security solution that can provide better protection for your computer.

Where can I find more information?

Your administrator can refer to this WatchGuard knowledge base article for more information on how to upgrade to WatchGuard Endpoint Security. If there are any additional questions about this announcement, your administrator can reach out to your WatchGuard sales representative.
