Keeping Your Information Secure: Stronger Passwords for WatchGuard Logins

We're committed to keeping your accounts and information secure. As part of this ongoing effort, we're implementing enhanced password requirements for all WatchGuard logins (including our website), effective June 20th, 2024.
These changes will apply whenever you create a new password or change your existing one. Here's what to expect for new password requirements:
- Minimum Length: Your password must be at least 12 characters long.
- Character Variety: It should include at least one of each of the following:
- Uppercase letters (A-Z)
- Lowercase letters (a-z)
- Numbers (0-9)
- Special characters (e.g., !, @, #, $)
- No Common Patterns: Passwords containing common sequences (e.g., "123456" or "password") will be rejected. Choose something unique and memorable.
- Real-Time Protections: Our system checks passwords against compromised password databases, preventing them from being used. This ensures your accounts are shielded from known threats.
