Spanish CISOs Make Their Last Stop in Seattle Before the RSA Conference

WatchGuard welcomed a delegation of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) from top companies across Spain in Seattle on Friday, marking their final stop before heading to the RSA Conference in San Francisco. Their visit is part of a cybersecurity tour to meet with key industry leaders, including WatchGuard Technologies, a leader at the forefront of innovation in IT security.

Real Defense, Real Results
The CISO delegation was welcomed to Seattle by WatchGuard’s executive team with an afternoon and lively discussion and demonstration at the preview center of WatchGuard’s partner, Seattle Kraken. WatchGuard joined forces with the Seattle Kraken in 2023 to demonstrate what it takes to stop attacks on and off the ice. In the 2023–2024 season, the Kraken IT team upgraded its cybersecurity stack to WatchGuard. Now, they secure sensitive data with EPDR, patch management, and antivirus, all through WatchGuard’s easy-to-use platform.
A Day of Insights, Innovation, and Inspiration

During an executive briefing, the CISO group received a data-driven look at current threat trends, attacker tactics, and how the landscape is shifting.
The group also explored how integrated security strategies can reduce complexity, improve visibility, and support scalability, especially for teams juggling multiple tools and assignments. Topics included AI-driven endpoint detection, network behavior analysis, streamlined compliance reporting, and the future of centralized Cloud-based security management through platforms like WatchGuard FireCloud.
WatchGuard’s commitment to making security more innovative, more scalable, and more effective for real people in real-world environments is strengthened by the power of genuine partnerships with reliable MSPs, who serve as trusted allies in delivering consistent protection, expert guidance, and hands-on support when it matters most.
