Michelle Welch Selected as a CRN 2023 Women of the Year Finalist

We are delighted that WatchGuard’s Michelle Welch has been selected as a finalist in two award categories in CRN’s 2023 Women of the Year Awards! This new award program from CRN spotlights women who have made significant contributions to the IT channel throughout 2023 and the companies that support them.

Specifically, Michelle is a finalist for the Channel Innovator of the Year award and Woman of the Year award among vendors and distributors. She is on a shortlist selected by a panel of judges from over 300 applicants. For the next phase of the award process, a panel of judges comprising CRN editors and channel community members will select the winners, who will be announced at the CRN Women of the Year Awards Gala on Dec. 5 in New York City.

This recognition is the latest channel-industry accolade that Michelle has garnered this year. CRN also recognized her in its lists of “50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs” and “Most Powerful Women of the Channel: Power 100.” As WatchGuard’s CMO and SVP of business strategy, Michelle is a champion of partner enablement. She and her team work tirelessly to support WatchGuard’s channel community and the company’s mission to make enterprise-grade security accessible to businesses of all types and sizes.
